Entry 53

As within, so without.

Channeling the Keepers of Light. Message received July 26, 2023.

“We are the Keepers of Light and we are with you now - as always. Today we wish to discuss the topic of pollution - and specifically how the pollution within yourself affects the outer state of your world and your experience.

As within, so without.

It seems odd to many of you that the state of your mind has a direct effect on what you perceive as the world “outside” yourself - but everything that comes to your experience, that comes to your door step, that you see reflected in the news, is the culmination of your innermost thoughts. It is true, words needn’t even be spoken.

You see, much of the discomfort in which you find yourself has to do with your lack of presence in the now moment. You’re constantly thinking about what happened earlier - be it this morning, last week or years ago; or you’re thinking about what might happen later - tomorrow, next month, or some undetermined date. The truth is, that most people operate in that level of unconsciousness (not being aware of themselves in the present moment) most or all of the time. This leads to the baseline level of unease and discomfort that these same people accept as ‘normal’ life.

There is nothing at all ‘normal’ about existing in a state of discomfort at all times, but this is why so many find themselves looking for quick fixes, ways to numb out, and find themselves with addictions - to things like sex, drugs, exercise, alcohol, food, tv shows or relationship drama. Some things, like exercise, you might consider ‘healthy’ - but when anything is used to escape the background noise of discomfort, it is nothing more than a band-aid solution to the suffering which, at it’s root, goes much deeper than the surface of needing to “hit the gym”.

This unconscious state of mind: always re-living the past (often under the guise of ‘I don’t want to make *that* mistake again’) or worrying about the future keeps you creating the same things in your life, your experience, and your world over and over and over again - and since you’re in discomfort, your new creations are guaranteed to be uncomfortable. This is not punishment, it is simply the nature of a reflective universe of which you are an aspect. Collectively, all this business of non-presence in the now moment creates the same unrest you see depicted in your world: polluted mind = polluted earth, whether you are looking at the environment, financial institutions, socioeconomics, or politics.

You, Dear Ones, are created to be in joy, loving, and at peace *at all times* - you’re a reflection of the Source that created you. Beautiful perfection in Love. Most cannot imagine this in their dizziest daydreams. If you know it’s possible, then you are free to explore and find it if you so choose - and we encourage and support you no matter what you decide to do.

This is not to say that you won’t experience discomfort during your journey to a more conscious state. On the contrary, you are certain to find discomfort, but you will learn and can decide to be curious about it instead of trying to avoid it - looking within to find what belief is at the root of this discomfort. This “shines a light” in those shadowed areas, casting out all darkness.

We leave you with a meditation. If you feel called to sample for yourself what we brought forth for you today - we ask you to take a few minutes to breathe and feel into these questions. Don’t answer them immediately, really see if you can quiet the mind and go within to feel the answer that your Self wishes you to hear:

We wish you to go into your thoughts, focus on what’s happening within your body in this moment *NOW*. Breathe deeply and slowly, in and out. If something comes to mind from your past, or a concern about a future moment encroaches on your respite into the now moment - we wish you to let it go. You can revisit those things later.

How do you feel? What are you experiencing within? Are you peaceful and relaxed? Are you tense anywhere? Is your heart pounding, or just beating steadily?

Looking within in this way suspends time and is a tool you can use in any moment to check in with yourself and, eventually, to find your peace. It sounds simple, and it is, but it is still likely to require frequent daily practices on your part to establish a connection to the present moment each day. Eventually though, it will become habit to notice when you’re not present - and the result will be that you find yourself more present than not in your daily life. You will find that your experience in life is transformed just by this simple act of ‘BE-ing in the NOW’. What a beautiful gift to yourself and to others.”
