How We Work Together

Cacao Ceremonies

Cacao is not hot chocolate. It is consumed like a warm beverage, and when used in sacred, intentional ceremony it can help you to reach heightened states of awareness, connect to your inner guidance, and facilitate mental, emotional and physical healing. You do not get “high” from cacao, and it is not a psychedelic substance.

My ceremonies include sound healing, a guided, channeled meditation and a post-meditation discussion. Group sessions available only.

Ceremonial cacao dates back to ancient Mesoamerican cultures (like the Aztecs and Mayans) who regarded cacao as a sacred plant. If you’ve looked into my Sacred Earth Integration sessions, or have read this blog, then you know that I regard all plants as sacred.

Cacao is a heart-opener. It has very little caffeine and high amounts of theobromine. This compound - in 3D terms - increases blood flow to the heart, but metaphysically it opens the heart to Love, clarity, and unity.

I use Keith’s 100% Pure Ceremonial Cacao because it’s minimally processed using traditional methods and their ethics and sourcing go beyond “fair-trade”: this company employs Mayan women from local Guatemalan communities who work at their own pace from home to prepare their cacao beans. What you receive in a Cacao Ceremony with me:

  • Responsibly sourced (and delicious) ceremonial cacao, brewed with intentions of Love and healing. Can be prepared on site (with stovetop available), or transported from my home.

  • Sound healing - either crystal bowls, indigenous flute, chimes, or a combination of these.

  • Channeled, guided meditation to lead your group into deep self-awareness and relaxation.

  • Group discussion post-session, including Q&A.

  • Session duration 1 hour.
